London: Printed for John Stockdale, Picadilly, 1788. New edition. 8vo leather. 292pp+rear ads. Near Good book. Edgeworn, with eroded crown and approximately 20% of the leather lacking from the upper and lower portions of the spine. Any preliminary pages preceding the half title are lacking. There is a bookplate dated July 4th, 1831 to the front endpage, a previous owner's name atop the title page, and an additional name to the rear endpage dated to 1866. A few leaves are loosening, and there is light pencil notation to a handful of pages. A somewhat eclectic 18th-century book about hunting, primarily focused on hare hunting practices.
