NY: Viking 1943. 1st edition with 'Published by the Viking Press in May 1943'. Hardcover 8vo 239 pgs. Fair in a fair dust jacket. Ex-library with label removed from jacket spine, stamps to both pastedowns and to front endpaper. Contents clean and binding sound. Jacket is quite toned, edgeworn and rear panel is soiled. Flaps are glued to the pastedowns. There is a 1/8 inch gap to the jacket at bottom edge leaving the book uncovered by jacket in that area.
