First edition copy. Collectible - Good. Acceptable dust jacket. NY: Dodd Mead 1929. 1st. Hardcover 12mo 304 pgs. Near very good in a fair dust jacket. Royal blue cloth. Hinge shaken. Light wear to corners and spine ends. Owner's name in ink on front pastedown. Hinge starting in a couple of places but binding is good. Contents clean. Jacket is edgeworn, chipped and has small edge tears and a 2 and 1/2 inch tear to front flap fold. 1 and 3/4 inch piece missing from jacket spine heel. (literature, fiction, police, kidnapping)
