Backstrip lacking. Light foxing to the joints and near edges of the boards. Pages age toned. Black ink stain to the lower near fore-edge of the front free endpaper. Penciled notation: '10422.6.YXA' to the upper corner of the front free endpaper. Slight dampstaining to the edges of the first plate, plate opposite page 146 and plate opposite page 152 and to the fore-edge to plate opposite page 132. Heavy creasing to the bottom corner of pages 27-32. Spine cracked at pages 42-43. Pages 43-46 nearly detached. Two quarter sized wormed holes to the lower and bottom gutter and one pin sized wormed hole to the center near fore-edge of pages 89-96 and also pin sized wormed hole to near fore-edge of pages 137-144.
