This study of the Army's goal for capability of 96-hour deployment of motorized forces anywhere in the world concludes that in most cases such a deployment will require 5 to 14 days a large improvement over historical deployment times for motorized forces. The study was sponsored by the Air Force and conducted by RAND, a nonprofit institute for research and analysis. The study should be of interest to the defense community, and to airmen and soldiers serving in plans, operational, analytic, and research and development. The book has no subject index.
