When Lunie is laid off from her job at the Mosby Gap Building Department, she decides to write a novel, clean her spotless house, and deal her deceased mother's house (Mother was a hoarder and "hoarding abhors a vacuum"). Her cheerful but annoying brother, Dayton, invades Lunie's house with his stuff and new Facebook friends. His unwanted gift of a stuffed mechanical moose becomes wedged in the front door. Increasing frustrated, Lunie seeks help online from the dubious Dr. Manngo, whose advice is oddly comforting. Her problems escalate when Dayton involves her in a neighbor's new cooking show and a yard sale to dispose of some of Mother's things goes bad.
