Collected here are over 1,000 photographs from citizens around the country. There are Democrats and Republicans; priests and marines; professors and veterans; suburban moms and hipsters and hipster suburban moms; mountain climbers, divers, and business people; women with gray hair, boys with blue hair, and girls with pink hair; gay people and straight people; people from California to New York to Ohio to Texas to Arkansas. They've come together between the covers of this book to say "Sorry, everybody." The apologies range from the silly to the sublime; and their collected effect is awesome: a portrait of America - or at least around half of it.
