Whereas Democrats tend to worry about election fraud (e.g. rigging the machines and the like), Republicans are far more likely to charge that voter fraud poses a danger to fair elections. John McCain, for example, charged that the voter registration drives by the community activist group ACORN posed the danger of "one of the greatest frauds in voter history, maybe destroying the fabric of democracy." McCain perhaps had this book by Fund (an online columnist for the Wall Street Journal and political analyst for FOX News) on his nightstand prior to making that statement, as it lays out the Republican partisan case concerning voter and voter registration fraud, particularly targeting ACORN for condemnation. It also warns against letting felons vote, argues for voter identification laws, and generally echoes longstanding Republican arguments about voting and elections, arguments Democrats often charge are more about voter suppression than election integrity.
